Bharathanjali, a self-reliant village is the dream child of Mr. K.V.Krishnan (fondly called as Krishnettan). Krishnettan, a Gandhian who is 65 now and have had education only till 5th standard, talks about the structure and functioning of Bharathanjali and also reminds us the importance of keeping up the harmony between the people around the globe irrespective of their color, race, language and regional barriers.

I met Maglin Peter at a time when I had no respect towards the kind of feminism that doing the rounds. Maglin is a social activist from the fishing community of Trivandrum, south Kerala. And she has a thing or two to teach us about feminism and activism.

In this interview, she talks about the fishing community, her activities for the fishing community and her experiences in the Tsunami relief camps.
